Give your time. Share your skills.
There is more than
one way to care.
A mission grows through people who choose to bring something of themselves to it. Your time, experience, generosity, or connections may help SILAH take its next step.
Find your contribution
Bring what you can.
Begin a conversation.
Tell us what interests you and what you can offer. Together, we can explore whether there is a suitable way to help.
01 · TIMEExplore volunteering.
Express your interest in supporting the animal sanctuary mission or SILAH’s wider work. Let us know where you are based, your relevant experience, and the time you could offer.
Placements depend on the project’s stage, current needs, and capacity. Please contact us before planning travel or expecting an on-site role.
02 · KNOWLEDGEShare professional skills.
Animal welfare and veterinary knowledge, communications, photography, organization, planning, and fundraising experience can help both the care already underway and the expansion to a larger sanctuary.
You do not need to propose a large project. A specific skill and a realistic idea of how you could help are a good starting point.
03 · CONNECTIONSIntroduce a partner.
If you know a person, organization, or business whose experience aligns with SILAH’s work, help make the connection. Thoughtful introductions can open a conversation about resources, expertise, or collaboration.
Tell us what the potential partnership could offer and which part of our mission it relates to.
04 · ADVOCACYHelp others discover SILAH.
Share the website, introduce a friend to Hope’s story, or tell someone why orphan support matters to you. Personal conversations can bring people closer to a cause.
When sharing, use SILAH’s pages to describe the work and the current care and planned farm expansion accurately.
A useful first message
Help us understand
where you may fit.
Introduce yourself and tell us which part of SILAH’s mission interests you. A few practical details will make the conversation more useful:
- Your location and whether you hope to help remotely or in person.
- Your relevant skills, experience, or connections.
- The time you could offer and any dates you have in mind.
- A specific idea, if there is something you would like to propose.
Before getting involved
A few things to know.
Do I need to be in Morocco to help?
Tell us where you are based and what you can offer. Some ideas may lend themselves to remote collaboration, while any in-person opportunity depends on current arrangements and capacity.
Can I visit the sanctuary?
Our sanctuary work has begun, and we are working toward purchasing and preparing a larger farm location. Please inquire before making plans. Sending an inquiry does not reserve a visit or a volunteer placement.
Can I suggest a fundraising activity?
Yes. Share your idea, intended audience, and proposed timing with SILAH so we can discuss an appropriate approach before anything is announced.
Your next step
Start with a connection.
A thoughtful conversation can be the beginning of meaningful help.
