SILAH Guardians

Become a SILAH Guardian

Assalamu Alaikum dear brother/sister,

Thank you for expressing your interest in becoming a Guardian with SILAH, embodying the noble teachings of our beloved Prophet (SWS) who said, “Whoever would love to be shaded in the shade of Allah, let him help someone in hardship or waive a loan.” (reported by Abu al-Yasar)

SILAH, meaning "connection" or "to connect" in Arabic, stands for Shining Islam’s Light Across Humanity. Our nonprofit organization is driven by a profound mission to swiftly and effectively extend assistance to our global community, particularly by sponsoring orphans worldwide. In alignment with the teachings of our Prophet (SWS), who declared, “Giving charity is an obligation upon every Muslim,” we endeavor to alleviate distress and lighten the burdens of our Ummah.

As a Guardian, we urge you to forge connections and mobilize sponsors to join us in sponsoring one or more orphans. Once you've identified interested individuals, kindly gather their contact information— including their first and last names, phone numbers, emails, and physical addresses—to contribute to our "SILAH map," symbolizing a geographic connection.

We sincerely appreciate your commitment to this cause and eagerly anticipate receiving the list of individuals whom you've chosen to be Guardians for. Should you have any inquiries or require further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at connect@silah.org.

Once again, Jazak Allah Kheir for your invaluable participation! We look forward to your involvement and the positive impact we can make together.

Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet (SAW) said, “If anyone relieves a Muslim believer from one of the hardships of this worldly life, Allah will relieve him of one of the hardships of the day of resurrection. If anyone makes it easy for the one who is indebted to him (while finding it difficult to repay), Allah will make it easy for him in this worldly life and the hereafter; and if anyone conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and in the hereafter. Allah helps His slave as long as he helps his brother.” (Muslim)
