Welcome

Shining Islam’s Light Across Humanity

Assalamu Alaikum and Aloha,

In the profound words of Allah (SWT) from Quran 5:2, "Help one another in acts of piety and righteousness." These words serve as a guiding light, reminding us that true connection with our Creator is found in serving others, especially those in dire need. Among the most vulnerable are the orphans, deserving of our utmost care and attention.

Allah (SWT) reminds us in Quran 49:13, "O Mankind, We created you from a single pair... so that you may know one another." It is this profound sense of connection and care for each other that drives SILAH—Shining Islam’s Light Across Humanity. SILAH, meaning "connection" in Arabic, embodies our commitment to unite communities globally, with a special emphasis on serving orphans worldwide.

Our mission extends beyond religious and social boundaries; it's about fostering genuine relationships rooted in compassion and support. As Muslims, it's incumbent upon us to not only pray and fast but to embody the teachings of Islam through our actions, reaching out to those in need and alleviating their suffering.

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) exemplified the importance of relieving others' distress and supporting those in dire straits. As narrated in Muslim, "Whoever relieves a believer’s distress, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the Hereafter."

SILAH serves as a beacon of hope and assistance, creating a network of support and outreach for the community. Our goal is to swiftly connect individuals with resources and aid through our "connection tree" framework, especially crucial in these challenging times.

Amidst the uncertainties of war and destruction, whether man-made or natural disasters, our resolve to stand together as a community remains steadfast. Regardless of our backgrounds or circumstances, we are all susceptible to the hardships of life. Yet, with Allah's blessings, we can emerge from these trials and tribulations stronger and more compassionate.

Our duty to care extends to all of humanity, irrespective of faith or creed. As the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) emphasized, "Angel Gabriel kept recommending treating neighbors with kindness." Let us heed this call to compassion and extend our care to all, including the orphans who are among the most vulnerable.

May Allah (SWT) bless our efforts and guide us to serve with sincerity.

Take great care of yourselves and each other!

Fi Amanillah
